The (school) New Year is Here!

Are you as pumped as I am to finally see everyone out and about and back in the IC?

This year we will follow the same (rough) program schedule:

• The show will start with "The IC Essential Countdown" a Top Ten or Top Five (depending on the show) countdown the the weeks hottest new Dance and Club tracks and an occasional classic (seriously some of the tracks are ridiculously new) !
• I am working on getting interviews with artists - I recently aired an interview with world famous DJ/Producer Mark Ronson and definitely don't want to stop!
• The last hour will be for Exclusive and Live Sets from some of the best DJs around - this will include many DJs who will be performing live at various venues in Iowa City later that Saturday Night! These sets are mixed to perfection and are an uninterrupted groove!
  

We have some sweet guests are lined up for the next few weeks:

This Saturday Night - I, DJ Avant Garde, will hop on the decks for our kick off show of the 07-08 school year!

9/8 - Steve Blank - a U of I student who specializes in Baltimore Club/Hip-Hop/Electro DJing and also Remixing will be on the show to lay down an hr set.

The next month or so be sure to look for DJ Sharlo (local promoter and House/Electro DJ), IC Essential Mix regular DJ Cristiano, and DJ NYJ (ETC Resident DJ and Disco House extrordinare)!

Hey guys, sorry I havent been up to posting much new besides the Countdown lists! Been pretty busy the past month - doing a lot of DJing (4 days a week), made a few trips, and started some production work. I had a killer trip to Lollapalooza (solely went to see Daft Punk) and had an amazing time - i will post pics once my friend (LANA cough cough) sends me the pics from it.
