Plans for 9/29/07

Hey everyone! Hope you week is going great especially with the weekend right around the corner!

On this weeks show I will be joined by fellow co-worker Janina to hang out with me and help promote the glamorous Studio 54 event at our bar the Union on Oct. 6th. We will also be giving away 2 pairs of tickets to the event! (She is circled in white at last years 54 event. )


The Countdown will take place on the top of 5 o'clock then we will play a mixtape by "Clash the Disco Kids." The name of the mixtape is "You say party, we say rave."

Post Show 9/22/07

Wow what an amazing show! We had a killer Countdown, followed by a live 1 hr throw down by Sharlo ft. Mel with some wicked scratching, then a live interview with a up and coming rapper out of C.R.- Young Ezzy. Sharlo and Mel brought it all for those of you who didn't hear it - I feel bad you missed it! Ezzy did some sick freestyling along with telling us his story and letting us know whats to come! It will be tough to live up to it for next week but as always we will try to top every week! ~ Cheers, Avant Garde

Scheduled to come in for a live interview is up and coming rapper from Cedar Rapids - Young Ezzy. He will be performing in Des Moines as an opener at the Shop Boyz concert on October 14th.


Also, DJs Sharlo and Mel are set to come on the show and bring us another Essential Mix. Expect some house flavors with mixed electro!
